Students will delve into targeted exercises over a four-week period, utilising Scoliosis-friendly exercises with the principles of the Schroth Method and Scolio-Pilates®. The programme consists of 1 initial private session, and 4 group classes.
The private session will be scheduled before group classes begin. To ensure a tailored approach from the start, all participants are required to attend a one-on-one private session before joining the group classes. This helps us assess your unique spinal pattern and create the right modifications for you. This 1:1 private session with your certified teacher will also allow us to design a customised programme tailored to your needs, ensuring maximum benefits reaped from the group classes.
The same teacher at your private session will also be leading your weekly group classes.
At the private session, we will:
Review x-rays
Understand the student's history, background, and current functional abilities or disabilities, assessing how the curves affect the feet, hips, head, shoulders, breathing, and walking gait
Discuss concerns and goals, including any aches and pains
Introduce basic exercises tailored to the student's specific curvatures, which will serve as a personalised warm-up for class.
At the weekly group classes:
Students will be brought through different Scoliosis-friendly techniques and exercises, tailored to the unique needs of each participant. The four-week programme will offer close instruction in an intimate group setting limited to just five students. Expect a healing and enriching experience with improved spinal health and a stronger, more balanced body, and being connected to others who understand what you’re going through.
You will walk away from this Intensives Programme with a better understanding of your curve, reductions in pain, improved posture, better spinal flexibility and balance, slowed curve progression, and strengthened core muscles.
This programme is open to all ages and fitness levels.

Yes, our Intensives are suitable for beginners, including those who are very new to Pilates. We welcome participants of all experience levels. Our teachers are adept at tailoring the sessions to accommodate individual needs and skill levels.

This program is high in demand and only has five slots, so we seek your understanding that consistent attendance is vital for the best Intensives Programme experience. Once enrolled, refunds cannot be provided to ensure fairness for all participants.

Yes, we maintain a capacity limit of FIVE students only, just like our regular classes. That also means there are only five slot available for registration for each Intensives Programme enrolment cycle. This allows us to provide personalised attention and guidance to every participant. We want to ensure that you receive the fullest support you need to make the most out of your Intensives Programme experience.

Intensives Programme’s Terms & Conditions
Please only sign-up for the enrolment cycle if you are able to attend ALL sessions scheduled. Your registration signifies your commitment to these specific dates scheduled. Please note that there will be no refunds, transfers, or exchanges for sessions that are not attended.
Registration for the Intensives Programme is only confirmed upon full payment. You will receive a confirmation email once your payment has been processed.
Once your registration for the Intensives Programme is confirmed, we cannot offer refunds or allow transfers. For cancellations due to health or medical reasons, please provide a medical certificate, and we will review these cases individually.
Please note that videos and photos may be taken during class hours for Altum Pilates’ marketing purposes. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let us know in advance.
