About the Programme:
Welcome to our Post-Natal Pilates Intensives Programme, a specialised four-week series of Pilates group classes, designed to support mothers through the significant body changes experienced during and after pregnancy. Based on the principles of The Center For Women’s Fitness, this programme offers a calm and serene environment for new moms to come together and focus on their recovery and well-being.
Each week, our mothers will learn key techniques for pelvic floor recovery and Diastasis Recti repair, drawn from The Center for Women’s Fitness. These methods will empower them with skills they can continue to use long after the programme ends, supporting their recovery at home. Topics covered will also include building strength for daily activities as their baby grows, maintaining proper posture, and gentle techniques for alleviating pain and supporting breastfeeding.
In addition to the group classes, each mother is able to attend a 45-minute physiotherapy session with BalanceCore Physiotherapy's women’s specialist, Clare Tang, before the programme begins at a special rate just for our mommies. This session will assess the pelvic floor and overall body condition to ensure the classes are safe and tailored to each mother’s specific needs. Clare’s expert advice will guide both the group exercises and individualised recommendations for ongoing post-natal recovery.
Our certified teachers, who are mothers themselves, bring personal insights and experiences to the program, sharing how these exercises have benefited them. Join us to strengthen your body, improve your posture, and connect with other new moms in a supportive community.

FAQs

Intensives Programmes are specialised group classes that concentrate on a particular skill or objective over a defined period. These sessions provide focused attention and guidance on a specific area, allowing participants to delve deeper into their practice. In contrast, regular classes cover a broader range of skills and objectives, with each class offering a variety of exercises aimed at overall improvement. While Intensives lead to more concentrated outcomes over a set duration, regular classes offer diverse experiences with evolving objectives in each session.
